Sullivan Square

  • Road work will continue at the Sullivan Square rotary. 
  • Work will include installation of traffic signal structures and paving.
  • The proposed work will require sequenced lane shifts along with some closing of lanes during off-peak hours. 
  • Work will continue on D Street.
  • Work will include drainage structure installation. 
  • The work will require some short-term lane closures and lane shifting. 
  • Work will continue at the Sullivan Square MBTA Station.
  • Work will include retaining wall installation and paving.
  • The work will be done with small crews in isolated areas outside of the roadway.
  • There is no anticipated impact to traffic. 

 

Route 16

  • Work will continue at Wellington Circle. 
  • Work will include traffic signal installation, roadway widening, curb and sidewalk installation. 
  • The work will be done with small crews working in isolated areas.
  • No/limited lane closures anticipated. 
  • Work will continue at Santilli Circle.
  • Work will include road widening and traffic signal installation. 
  • The work will be done by small crews working in isolated areas. 
  • No lane closures are anticipated.
  • Work will continue at Bell Circle.
  • Work will include traffic signal foundation installation.
  • The work will be done by small crews working in isolated areas.
  • No lane closures are anticipated.

 

Alford Street/Broadway (Route 99)

  • Roadwork will continue on Broadway.
  • Work will include traffic signal installation, roadway widening, and curb/sidewalk installation.
  • The work will require short-term lane closures. Some lane shifting may be required.
  • Two travel lanes southbound on Broadway will be maintained during morning peak hours and two travel lanes northbound on Broadway will be maintained during afternoon peak hours.

    EVERETT

    • Robin Street 
      • There will be a single lane closure on Robin Street for utility excavation between Beacham and Dexter Streets on Monday, July 16, through Thursday, July 19, from approximately 6:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.
      • Expect alternating traffic patterns during this period.
