Sullivan Square

  • Road work will continue at the Sullivan Square rotary. 
  • Work will include underground utility investigation, drainage structure installation, hydrant relocation and street light installation.
  • The proposed work will require short-term lane closures and some lane shifting.
  • Work will begin at the Sullivan Square MBTA Station.
  • Work will be done during the night and will require some lane closures on streets adjacent to the station. 

Route 16

  • Work will continue at Santilli Circle.
  • The work will include traffic signal installation and drainage structure installation and will be done by small crews working in isolated areas.
  • The proposed work will require closing outside travel lanes for short durations.
  • Traffic signal work will continue at Wellington Circle and will be done by small crews working in isolated areas.
  • The proposed work will require closing outside travel lanes for short durations.

Alford Street/Broadway (Route 99)

  • Roadwork will continue on Broadway and Robin Street.
  • The work will include curb and sidewalk removal, conduit installation and drainage structure installation.
  • The work will require short-term lane closures. Some lane shifting may be required.
  • Two travel lanes southbound on Broadway will be maintained during morning peak hours and two travel lanes northbound on Broadway will be maintained during afternoon peak hours.
  • On Robin Street, the southbound lane will be closed from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm with traffic detoured to Broadway, as needed.
  • There is no expected closure of Beacham Street, between Robin and Broadway, this week. Alerts will be sent if this changes.

  • The proposed work will require short-term lane closures and some lane shifting.

Route 16

  • The work will include roadway widening, curb installation and drainage structure installation and will be done by crews working in isolated areas outside of the roadway.
  • The proposed work will require closing outside travel lanes for short durations.

Alford Street/Broadway (Route 99)

  • Roadwork will continue on Broadway and Robin Street.
  • The work will include curb and sidewalk removal, conduit installation and drainage structure installation.
  • The work will require short-term lane closures. Some lane shifting may be required.
